To
create the "sepia" effect, or in other words the old
school photo effect, is actually very simple only a few steps.
First off I started with this image because I thought it would look good
as an old picture.
Go
to Image>Adjust>Hue and Saturation. when this dialogue box
comes up check the COLORIZE button at the bottom. Then move the
sliders as shown. Feel free to adjust the sliders for a lighter or
darker effect.
There
we are. Done. Pretty simple eh? Looks very nice on new
photos that you would want to print out and have look old.
